Long Island Men’s
Our Long Island Adult & Teen Challenge residential programs provide hope, healing, and a future to those who struggle with life-controlling issues. We work with men and women ages 17 and up through their journey to sobriety. Men and women that come to our program not only receive a holistic approach to recovery from life-controlling problems, but they also acquire a new value system that honors family, takes responsibility for their community, cultivates a positive work ethic, and helps them become productive healthy members of society.
Residents in our program engage in one-on-one counseling throughout the duration of their recovery, as well as develop life skills necessary for career development. The residents receive training and classes pertaining to interview skills, customer service training, resume writing, budgeting and finance, auto maintenance, and so much more.
New York Adult & Teen Challenge is set apart from other centers throughout the country with the availability of counseling services. Our licensed counselors work with the residents in individual, group, and marital sessions one a week to assist in their journey of recovery and to treat the various mental and emotional disorders and behavioral challenges that may present themselves.
We endeavor to help people become mentally sound, emotionally balances, socially adjusted, physically well and spiritually alive.
